I sat down with my brother, Dustin to talk about his love of travel. We talked for almost an hour and I felt like we could have continued for another four. Dustin who is blind and has been since birth, loves all things travel, beer, food, and talking to people. He picked up the travel bug in his mid 20’s after traveling to Florida, Ohio, and Iceland for his siblings’ weddings and hasn’t stopped exploring since.

In this conversation Dustin shares how he plans his trips, packs to ensure his seeing eye dog Elsa is comfortable, what resources he uses, and best practices for the blind community.
