In the latest installment of the MyBrothersRBlind Real Talk Series, I spoke with my brothers Jeremy, Dustin, and Corey about their experiences growing up blind. While we shared many laughs and had our fair share of bloopers, we also dug into their personal stories and discussed the importance of community support. Additionally, they provided useful advice on accessing resources and connecting with organizations that support the blind and low vision communities.

For anyone who is familiar with our sibling dynamic, it is known that my brothers and I can engage in deep and meaningful conversations that stretch on for hours. That’s precisely what occurred, so I broke our conversation into two parts. On part 1, my brothers shared memories about their childhood experiences, challenges, and experiencing independence for the first time.
